Kwame Alexander & Dare Coulter at Northside Elementary School

We were thrilled to host poet, educator, publisher and NYT best selling author, Kwame Alexander as he dazzled 3rd, 4th and 5th graders with a magical start to 2023. He was joined by award winning (and local) artist and illustrator, Dare Coulter, as they kicked off their book tour for An American Story.

Atianna J. Cordova is a native of New Orleans, urban designer, educator and the founder of WATER BLOCK™ and WATER BLOCK Kids™. She is the author of the children's book, What Is Architecture?

WATER BLOCK Kids™ teaches youth about design through educational programs and products. Their programs and products focus on four design elements including architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning and real estate.
