It was a packed week at NorthStar Church of the Arts! A dozen local art and design professionals interfaced with the students, facilitating creative expression through a variety of mediums. We took walking field trips to 21c Art Museum, Evoke Architecture Studio and the future site of a multidisciplinary arts space. The week culminated in a Public Reception & Show at NorthStar. The camp was free for students and included meals.
We thank our creative community for making this happen, especially the sponsorship from NorthStar Church of the Arts, ACTIVATE NC, Szostak Design, Ninth St. Bakery, Mediterranean Deli, and Luna.
Freedom Dreaming is an opportunity to visualize the future that we want to live in, and harness the necessary tools and resources to actively move that dream toward a reality. These principles were developed by the Downtown Brooklyn Arts Management Fellows.
